WPC (Women’s Players Club) is an interclub event consisting of 4 golf clubs: Grand Haven, Oceanside, Prestwick, and Club Du Bonmont. Each Club fields a team of their eight lowest handicap players, plus a Pro. The team lineup is by handicap index not to exceed 27.0.

Three clubs will host 1 match play event during the year where points will be accumulated. The winning team from the previous year will host the Fun Day event. All players will pay for golf and lunch in the Pro Shops the day of the event.

Match Play: There are 4 better ball team matches during each event. The top 2 teams for each club play at scratch, no strokes. The bottom 2 teams will play net with full handicap, off the low ball in the foursome. The low score of each team determines the winner of each hole: 1 point for a win, ½ point for a tie, and 0 points for a loss.  The total points in each match equal 18; teams accumulate points for each match played during the season. The Pros from each club also participate and play for a total of 3 points, 1 for front nine, 1 for back nine, and 1 for overall. These points are added to the team totals. The winner of WPC will be determined by the total team points for the year.  

Fun Day: Clubs will send 8 players to The Fun Day event. The teams will be set up as ABCD and mixed so there will be 1 person from each club on a team if possible. One pro from each club will play together as a team also. The format is 1 ball gross and 1 ball net of each team. The entry fee is $5 cash, and the payout will be 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place.

CDB - Friday, Jan 29th - GH vs CDB, OCC vs PW (note - tee times starting at 11:00)

OCC - Tuesday, Feb 16th -GH vs OCC, CDB vs PW (9:00 shotgun)

PW - Friday, Mar 5th -GH vs PW, OCC vs CDB (note - tee times starting at 10:30)

GH - Tuesday, April 20th - FUN DAY (8:30 shotgun)
